One great new song played well by John was received. Both artists were in good form, with great vocals, guitar playing, and stage presence. Interestingly, there was little collaboration - one might have thought they would perform more duets. Two great song writers on one stage, a great evening of music. The between song banter was entertaining, and they played off each other's personalities well. Each played many of their hits, taking turns playing individually. There was an interesting contrast between styles - both vocally and in guitar sound and playing. Both artists were in good form, with great vocals, guitar playing, and stage presence. Styx was more dynamic and subtle, John more exuberant and free-wheeling. If you were a fan of either or both artists, you would have come away well entertained.
